From 1 January 2022, all users of ski resorts must hold third-party liability insurance to cover damage caused to third parties. Anyone who does not have this insurance can take it out at our ticket offices at the valley station, even for individual days. Most standard insurance policies of this type, including family policies, already cover winter sports. Nevertheless, we recommend checking this with your own insurance company. Third-party liability insurance is not included in the price of the ski pass.
Schöneben AG would like to draw attention to the legal requirements in this area. Legislative Decree No. 231 of 8 June 2001 governs the criminal liability of legal entities, companies and associations. The decree introduced criminal liability for entities under Italian law where certain offences are committed in the interests of or for the benefit of the entity by its governing bodies or by employees under their supervision. This means that entities can also be held criminally liable if they have gained a direct or indirect benefit from an offence that has been committed. The liability of the entity exists in addition to that of the individual who committed the offence.
