Strap on your skis, lace up your hiking boots or hop on your bike. The Schöneben-Haideralm skiing, cycling and hiking area keeps you active all year round. 65 kilometres of slopes, hiking trails at altitudes between 1,400 and 2,600 metres, and 31 enduro trails. And all this right in the heart of the ‘Tri-Border Area’, where South Tyrol, Austria and Switzerland meet.
The wide slopes and the snow-covered winter landscape invite you to enjoy long, sweeping turns. You can also test your skills on the more challenging runs. Add to that the sun on your face, snow beneath your skis and, every now and then, sweeping views over Reschensee.
When spring comes and the slopes turn green, panoramic trails wind their way through the alpine landscape, whilst more challenging routes lead towards the summits. The cable cars take care of the first few metres of ascent for you. Even by bike, you can climb above 2,000 metres before the singletracks take over, with tight turns, technical sections and the perfect flow.
And what would a day in the mountains be without a stop for refreshments? The huts and restaurants serve South Tyrolean specialities; there’s something nice to drink, and the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the view. This is exactly what a holiday in the Reschensee holiday region should be like.

Modern ski lifts take you right to where the winter fun begins. At the Schöneben-Haideralm ski resort, perfectly groomed slopes, the Schöneben Snowpark and Schoni’s Kinderland await snow enthusiasts of all ages. The Ski School Reschenpass is on hand to offer you advice and technical guidance. Ski hire, ski storage and the ski bus make everything so much easier. This leaves more time for what really matters: Enjoying the slopes and heading down towards the valley.
On foot or on two wheels: The cable cars in Reschen and St. Valentin auf der Haide take you and your equipment straight to the joys of the mountains. Mountain bikers ride along the valley floor, past the lakes Reschenee and Haidersee, all the way up to the tree line. Walkers and families follow the paths to their favourite spots, where they love lingering a little longer. This is where your summer in the three-country region gets a serious dose of mountain air, panoramic views and a thirst for adventure.
