The Schöneben-Haideralm ski resort

Winter fun around Lake Reschensee

65 kilometres of slopes, 11 ski lifts and altitudes of up to 2,350 metres. At the Schöneben-Haideralm ski resort, wide slopes, thrilling runs and long valley runs ensure plenty of variety. During the winter season, the ski lifts run daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Families and beginners will feel just as at home here as experienced skiers, snowboarders and freestylers. What’s more, there are clear views over Lake Reschensee and the mountain panorama in the border triangle between South Tyrol, North Tyrol and the Engadin.

From Reschen or St. Valentin auf der Haide, modern cable cars take you up to perfectly groomed slopes. From relaxed to challenging, there’s something for everyone. It is not without reason that the Schöneben-Haideralm ski resort is considered one of the most beautiful ski resorts in Europe. And for those with plenty of stamina, the Zwei-Länder Skiarena takes it one step further: a total of 159 kilometres of slopes straddling the border between Italy and Austria.

Schönis Kinderland

Right by the mountain station of the Piz-Schöneben gondola, the youngest skiers have their very own winter wonderland. At Schöni’s Kinderland, there are four magic carpets ready and waiting for little beginners, and the skischool Reschenpass  guides them step by step towards their first confident runs.

Two mountains, one ski resort

The St. Valentin–Schöneben connecting cable car

Since the 2018/19 winter season, Schöneben and Haideralm have also been linked by ski runs. From St. Valentin auf der Haide, the connecting cable car takes you via an intermediate station towards Schöneben, while the Höllentalbahn continues to the highest point of the Jochbahn.
