At Lake Reschensee in Vinschgau, sporting highlights, après-ski and special events add that little bit extra to your winter.

12 December 2026
Christmas magic at the Schönebenhütte
On 12 December 2026, the Schönebenhütte will host an atmospheric Christmas market set against the backdrop of the wintry mountain landscape.
To mark the ‘3-Country Kids’ Race’, the Schönebenhütte will become a meeting place for winter sports fans of all ages. Look forward to a festive atmosphere, convivial moments and a special experience for the whole family.
As well as the excitement of the 3-Country Children’s Race, you can stroll amongst the various stalls at our Christmas market, sample regional delicacies and get into the Christmas spirit with traditional winter treats and hot drinks.
The highlight: the special atmosphere of the Schönebenhütte, combined with the “3-Country Kids’ Race” and the Christmas celebrations, makes this day an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
Every Tuesday at the Haideralm
Ski touring evening at the Haideralm
From 15 December 2026 to 23 March 2027, you can set off on the ski tour to the Haideralm every Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The ski lift is in operation from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Important: Outside of the ski touring evening, the use of the ski runs for ski touring during operating hours and whilst the slopes are being groomed is strictly prohibited.
Every Wednesday at the Schönebenhütte
Fondue evening
Every Wednesday, subject to prior booking, a cosy fondue evening awaits you at the Schönebenhütte. From 5 December 2026 to 3 April 2027, you can take an atmospheric night-time ride on the new gondola to the Schönebenhütte and spend an enjoyable evening there in the hut’s unique atmosphere.
Choose from 5 different fondue options and enjoy a cosy evening with friends or family amidst the winter mountain scenery.
Highlight: The night-time ride up in the new gondola makes the fondue evening a special experience.
Note: There will be no fondue evening during New Year’s Eve week.

New Year’s Eve on the mountain
Experience New Year’s Eve in a completely different way – high up at the Schönebenhütte, surrounded by the winter mountain landscape. Even the journey on the new gondola is a special experience. Once we’ve reached the top, we’ll raise a glass together with an aperitif.
After that, things really get cosy: To start with, there’ll be a selection of starters to share, before we enjoy a delicious fondue together. To round off the meal on a sweet note, there’s a selection of delicious desserts, followed by a cheese platter – perfect for sharing and enjoying.
And, of course, you can’t do without something warm at midnight: We serve our goulash soup with traditional Christmas sausages from the local butcher Metzgerei Folie. There’ll be live music, a great atmosphere and, of course, the perfect moment to raise a glass to the New Year together.

Klangtal
On 20 February 2027, the Haideralm will host a special edition of Klangtal. Look forward to a unique event set against the backdrop of the winter mountain landscape, featuring electronic music, several DJs and a special atmosphere.
