Adventures in the Snow – the new, exciting descent, leading from Belpiano to San Valentino alla Muta

Even more winter fun for the whole family

The new, exciting descent from Belpiano to San Valentino alla Muta never fails to amaze people of all ages! Marvel at the frozen Lago di Resia, glistening in the sunlight, and meet mascot Schöni and his animal friends as you whiz past.

The new, easy to master blue run is approx. 4.3km long and leads into San Valentino alla Muta on Lago di Resia. The ten-seater cable car will get you and your family to the start, reaching an altitude of 421m, in no time. This new lift facility has connected the Belpiano and Malga di San Valentino since the 2018-19 winter season. With an overall capacity of 1200 people per hour, you’ll see that nothing, not even queueing, will stand in the way of your day on the slopes!

Who’s afraid of the Höllental? A new, spectacular descent in Belpiano – from the 2018/19 winter season

A Challenge on your South Tyrolean Skiing Holiday

Planned well in advance, finally, at the beginning of the 2018/19 winter season, it’ll be ready… two ten-seater cable cars link the Belpiano and Malga di San Valentino ski resorts, making your skiing holiday in Val Venosta all the more relaxed. One of the new cable cars – with an overall capacity of 2400 people per hour – will bring you into the Höllental and, with it, the amazing new piste of the same name… the Höllental descent with a length of 2.4 km!

The wide, panoramic descent is a challenge for every skier – at 3,583 m long, the steep red run conquers an altitude of 413m and takes you to the mid-point station of the linking cable car above San Valentino alla Muta. Don’t let the name, which actually means “Valley of Hell” put you off, though! There aren’t many winter sport athletes who can resist tackling the most difficult stages, allowing them to attack the diverse range of alternative routes available here.

The new highlight in the Belpiano ski resort also guarantees stunning views. During the descent into Höllental, you’ll see Lago di Resia, the steeple and into Vallelunga. Need we say more? Book your South Tyrolean ski holiday without delay!
